There were 29 participants of 7 organizations that member of FORLAND, in which there were 3 representatives of CORENARM.
The training objectives including: (i) Increasing knowledge on the gender concepts and analyze tools (Theoretical framework; Moser, Havard theoretical framework; Kabeer analytic framework); (ii) Brainstorming about relationship between gender and environmental issues; (iii) Enhancing skills on gender integrated in research, policy advocacy and community development.

At the training, the trainees were introduced about gender and relevant issue, such as: The concept of gender and primary terms, values and attitudes of gender, gender in labor allocation, inequality gender and affect factors, practical needs and strategic interests, the approach “Women in development” and “Gender and Development”… This is also opportunity in order to network members exchanged, learned and shared experiences.
On the afternoon 20th August, 2014, all participants summarized the contents after two days and took out lessons learned about gender analysis tools. There were also many good ideas on the deployment and application knowledge and tool of gender analysis in community development and policy advocacy.
